<--RETURN TO PHOTO INDEXThe Road Through Cachia tour through the mountains of Salta province Towards the end of my stay in Salta, I decided to see some of the most impressive sights of Salta province through two-day tour through the mountains on the way to Cachi, heading down to Cafayate, and then the next morning, I embarked on a beautiful ride through the Quebrada de Cafayate, as you see in the next album. As is probably already clear after so many albums, the mountains of this area are amazing no matter what direction you go, and each area provides you with different colors and heights of the Andes. On the road to Cachi, we passed through many different types of vegetation and rock formations. Cachi itself is a pretty northwestern town. This was a beautiful first day of the tour. (11 photos) |
