<--RETURN TO PHOTO INDEXthe First Few MonthsTwo days after arriving to Buenos Aires, the group of newly arrived American university students (including me!) flew to Tafí del Valle, Tucumán, where we underwent an intensive orientation program, involving hiking, language, & culture training. At the end of our stay, we passed through the Quebrada de Cafayate on the way to Salta. Once back studying in Buenos Aires, we made a day trip to La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province. One weekend my friend Ali and I headed by bus to the capital of Córdoba province (the city of Córdoba) and its neighbor Villa Carlos Paz. I didn't become excessively camera happy until my following trips, as it took me a while to adjust and understand the nature of travel. Here are the highlights from my first few months in Argentina, excluding photos of Buenos Aires & events there. (11 photos) |
