<--RETURN TO PHOTO INDEXBackpacker's a los Nubesa tour through the sights of Salta and Jujuy Early the next morning after arriving in Salta, Mona and I departed on a tour that the hostel called "Backpacker's a los Nubes" because it followed the path of the famous Tren a los Nubes (Train to the Clouds), then heading off to the salt flats of Jujuy. This trip took us through yet more different looking, yet equally beautiful mountains with a number of young people from all over the world. I am impressed by the continually changing scenery in Argentina, and of course the mountains are always astounding. Towards the end of the day, we ended up at the interesting expanses of salt lakes in Jujuy, where it was fun to pose and take pictures of the impressive, unusual views. (11 photos) |
