The day after visiting Península Valdéz, we headed out on another journey to a wildlife reserve--this time, exclusively of penguins, being a penguin colony. For me, this was a great experience because penguins are my favorite animals. I took a lot of photos of the penguins, so I tried to stick to the highlights in the following album. The colony is incredibly large, and people are only allowed in a tiny restricted area to view them. However, the penguins still wander around doing their thing, so that's why it's possible to get close shots. The colors in the area are vibrant as well, so I have a few landscape photos. Later on this day, we headed to the Welsh villages in the area, having tea in a tea house where Princess Diana had eaten on one of her visits. (11 photos) |
