<--RETURN TO PHOTO INDEXColonia del Sacramento, Uruguaylocated within a few hours by boat from Buenos Aires A few days before the end of my time in Argentina, I knew that I had to make the day trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. Colonia is a tiny town that you can reach by taking a ferry over the Rio de La Plata. This was as far as I got within the country of Uruguay, but it was a nice view into its colonial past, and scenic historial streets. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so cooperative, but I got another stamp in my passport and a taste for the differences between the usually-quite-similar Argentine and Uruguayans. (Please note: the poor quality of this film developing is from a cheap photo lab in the United States.) (5 photos) |
